Atlanta is a town with deep roots to the Irish, and we like to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. My ancestors came to Atlanta from Ireland and were with Fr Thomas O’Riley who talked General Sherman into sparing the churches among a few other places when he had his troops burn down the rest of town during the civil war. HERE IS THE STORY….of how he saved some stuff
I LOVE the Atlanta St Pat’s Parade. Its a lot of fun for the family. We got there late…just as parade was starting so our view was not prime and well the light not the greatest for IPhone ..here are some photos from today:
