Do you like to dress up for races?  Being what I would call the “Casual Runner” I love seeing race costumes and of course enjoy Disney races for this reason that people dress up.

I came across these socks and thought they would be fun for someone wanting to run as everyone’s favorite female super hero WONDER WOMAN.  Yeah, they are caped socks!

I have also seen these socks for Batman, Robin, Flash, and of course Superman, priced on various websites from $9-$15.   I don’t own these, they just made me smile! 

So many cool ideas out there, added a Pinterest board to remember Running Costume Ideas!  Do you like to run in costume?

    I might need those for RnR LV to go with my “woman of steel” sparkle skirt!! But I worry about the capes getting in the way.

    I’ve only dressed up for one race. My best friend and I were Ariel and Aurora for the inaugural Tinker Bell Half. However I did wear some sweet green argyle socks for the Shamrock 15k last year in Portland, but I don’t really count that as fully dressing up. Socks are so fun! You should check out Sock Dreams, they will give you a lot of ideas! I like dressing up when I’m running with a friend and the costume isn’t too cumbersome.
