It’s time for the Spring Sale at SparkleSkirts!

SWEET! Leah had marked down some merchandise – SPARKLE SKIRTS EARLY BIRD SALE!
I shared it on my RWFR Facebook page immediately – I try to share the good stuff there – throw a like my way if you haven’t already!
Sadly, in my size not a whole lot to choose from – but I was able to score the “Race Number” skirt at an incredible price.
Ordered it Friday, arrived at my house MONDAY…how is that for service! Its the Sparkle Skirt service standard, top shelf I tell ya! They ship FAST and well I am just the next state up, so it gets to me quick even with USPS regular old service.
HOLY SMOKES…..it looks prettier in person than in the photos!

I saved a pretty penny off the full retail on this skirt, but the truth is even at full price a bargain for what you get. A friend of mine called me crazy for paying this much for a skirt…but here’s the skinny…
A Target Skirt……….. $20 – and I WILL Chafe so I have to have
Biker Shorts…………..$20 – the kind to stop the chub rub and
BOTH of these at this price point do NOT have pockets or have one tiny one that my stuff falls out of…..so I need my SPIbelt…. $20…..and there you go…. for the price of all this stuff…I can get a Skirt that does it ALL…
* No Chafe – Shorts Don’t Rise up
* 3 Roomy Pockets – 1 zips shut
* Cute Fabrics
* Made in USA, not some sweat shop
DUH…no brainer there…and my friend DID see the light – though she doesn’t have chafe issues….YET….she can get away with the $20 skirt…I cannot. Thank goodness for the Sparkle Tech Skirt line! Granted I don’t always need 3 pockets, but love having the zippered one big enough for my iPhone! Hello American Graffiti and Picasso Pink…you have a new friend called Race Number!
Of course I started planning my race outfits with the new model …what do you think?

One would think my collection is complete….but of course not. I still need OK, want just a plain blue or black one…..but of course with so many cute choices….I keep opting for something more fun.
Thanks Leah for your GREAT sale and wonderful skirts! Like Navin, I feel like I am SOMEBODY and that things are going to start happening for me now!- because I am looking sharp in my Sparkle Tech! OK, can you tell I kind of like Steve Martin too?

They didn’t have any sale items in my size either, I have had a plain black tech skirt on my wish list for awhile now but I think I’m about to break down and buy the bottoms to go under things I already have b/c I chafe too, pretty bad, even with Body Glide (ouch!)
The shorts do NOT ride up. Its amazing! If you are at an expo Leah is at, you can save shipping. Body glide is my friend.

Audrey, you will LOVE disney races! Congrats on your running too! I always have to share a good thing here.
While I have plenty of running skirts, I do not have any from this brand. I have not been able to rationalize the cost! I do agree with a bit of your price breakdown above, but once you buy the bike shorts & belt they are yours, you don’t have to keep re-purchasing them for each additional new skirt. I had bought a royal blue Adidas skirt on sale and some running shorts that cause me to chafe, so I wear my bike shorts under them. I also haven’t been able to commit to colorful patterns! My favorite skirt is my Lululemon PaceSetter skirt (in black).
Oh I wear my Costco and target stuff too…I save the fancy for my races and long runs. I don’t spurge on alot of stuff…and this is definitely one, but I think they are totally worth the $$. My picasso pink is now 2 years old and going strong! I probably have NOT bought black because of my target stuff and bikers. I saved up 2 years ago and this was my must have at the expo. I need to try Lululemon too.
Navin Johnson – snort – love it! I have YET to sparkle. Sigh. Might have to break down!

Sparkle on, sister! Great review- I took advantage of the spring sale too! Not so patiently waiting for my THREE new skirts to arrive- but this is making me wish I had jumped on Race Number too. So pretty!
