Disney Parks Blog announced the new Interactive Game A Pirate’s Adventure at the Magic Kingdom opening this summer – no DATE announced yet.
From Disney Parks Blog April 8th:
“Are you ready to experience a whole new pirate adventure?
Walt Disney Imagineering just shared a sneak peek at the new interactive quest, A Pirate’s Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas, which will debut at Magic Kingdom Park this summer.
In the game, the fate of piracy in the Caribbean rests in the hands of new pirate recruits, who, armed with magic talismans and treasure maps, embark on five different pirate raids throughout Adventureland to collect valuable treasures, while Captain Jack Sparrow’s magic compass guides them.
A Pirate’s Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas will be included with Magic Kingdom Park admission and is open to guests of all ages.”
Our whole family LOVED the Agent P Interactive Game at Epcot on our visit last Fall. It takes you back within the different country pavilions in search of Agent P. My princess LOVES Pirates of the Caribbean and can’t wait to try this new game out when we go on our next trip.
WDW News today (@WDWNT) reported today that they were testing the game for a limited time today at Magic Kingdom. You can read all about it here on the WDW News Today Blog and see a video of one of the raids as tested. The animation is similar to Agent P game currently in Epcot, which I think is more interesting than the flat screens of current Sorcerer’s game at Magic Kingdom.
Man I hope this is open when we go early summer! Just wondering what it will be like when Adventureland gets packed with those seeking a Dole Whip and dare I say, hoping it doesn’t go too close to that smoking section.
Will you play this on your next trip? Looks like a blast to me!
