Yes, The One about Frozen Pizza.

April 23, 2013 by Julie @RunWalkRepeat

This is not exactly a foodie blog but I do like to eat….look at me, yeah a little too much perhaps.

Recently I tried something that really surprised me on how tasty it was and since I like sharing good things with my readers – here you go.  Frozen pizza.  I am not a pizza snob, though I do love me all kinds of Pizza, and I appreciate the good stuff, but living in the south you take what you can get.

DiGiorno Pizzeria Style Pizza…its new –  worth a try for all you frozen pizza eaters!

I was expecting your usual blah I associate with any frozen pizza; that I would be underwhelmed but man was I surprised.  Nice crust and tasty flavorful sauce – what it says on the box, it delivers.  Really, its a notch above any frozen pizza I have tried.  I think a few notches truth be told.  If you go to DiGiorno’s web page, you can download a $2 off Coupon to try it.  At my Publix its just under $6 – which I think is a bit much for Frozen Pizza, however its as good as Domino’s in my opinion and the good old $5 hot n fresh at CiCi’s.  DiGiorno believes so much in this product if you don’t like it…

Its on them…. save your receipt and box proof of purchase and you can write them for a full refund if not satisfied.

Now truth be told, we are TRYING to avoid unhealthy processed foods, however, when you have a small child and busy schedule….Pizza is going to happen.  Right now our Go To Frozen Pizza is Costco’s Kirkland Frozen Cheese Pizza – 4 for $9.99, can’t beat that with a stick.  Its above average and honestly, I won’t give it up for this.  HOWEVER I know when we travel and stay in a condo, easy cheap meal.  When I am on vacation, I don’t like to cook, but when we have a kitchen, we typically try to do something in a couple nights to save some money and frozen pizza and bag salad is about as complicated as I like.  I can tell you on our next trip to Walt Disney World, we are trying out the Sheraton Vistana Resort in a 2 bedroom villa will full kitchen and a couple of these will for sure be in our freezer!

With summer quick dinners and beach trips coming up, thought I would share this easy inexpensive and tasty item with you!  Bon Appetitite.

Its not delivery….. Its DiGiorno.

We typically have a frozen pizza once every other week or so; we’ll have to give this one a try!

Try it, you will like it! 🙂 Another one that is good which I can’t find local right now is Mystic Pizza Frozen Pizza – costco used to sell it….I think this is as good as that one.

Welcome!
