I am so blessed to live near 2 awesome running paths by our local river The Chattahoochee River – did I mention they are flat trails! Recently stopped to take some photos to share – yeah just into enjoying the view this particular day, its not always about pace you know:
Canadian Goose and some baby Geese |
So much rain, the river is about to overflow |
Ice Man and Goose, is that you? |
Too Much Rain, Sticking with the DRY Parts of the Trail |
Sewer and MUCK ahead, I turned around |
Coming out under bridge over highway, so pretty down here! |
What is your view like when you run?

It really is Jennifer! you can actually make an easy and ‘safe’ 10 miles out of it and its flat too. Our neighborhood is hill city!

It’s a beautiful path, despite the sewage. 🙂
I run mostly in a neighborhood, so houses and small trees. On occasion, I veer off and do a loop through an area that has horse farms and a wildcat preserve, and that’s pretty awesome.

You gotta love a good “raw sewage” sign! I do love that path!
