2014 runDisney Half Princess Marathon Weekend registration opens up Tomorrow, Tuesday June 11th at noon eastern time. If you want to get in no the Glass Slipper Challenge with me, I advise you sign up right away as races have been filling up! While you are waiting, here is a little something to watch from last year. If you don’t remember, my blog entry on it, the nutshell version: It was hot and muggy. I ran with my fellow DisBroads Amy and Patty. We thought it might rain – and me with Satin sleeves. We had a Personal Best in fun and a new record in time…..slow time that is, we stopped for pictures, LOTS but believe it or not, NOT ALL. We finished in just under 4 hours from start….stretching our registration fee to last – hey those photos come with a price in your time! Oh and one of the DisBroads, cough the one on the left….
has a REALLY small bladder and well we had to stop at many potties. Oh and I don’t normally look like Tammy Faye with my makeup, just did it for the costume and well I could have smiled in more photos – I mean it WAS fun. I was trying to stay in character, method actress you know.

Man, I thought I would be able to watch this without tearing up this time since I actually did this race, but no… I was holding strong until you thanked the volunteers and showed their pictures. Then it was sniffle city again! Yet another great video, thanks!!

Great job Julie! It came out awesome! I sure will be following along on the blog all year leading up to GSC. Did Patty run with her Tink medal in her pocket? Wondered about that to have all 3 medals when we get our glass slippers.

There was a guy in line right in front of me who DID run with it- so I borrowed it Bonnie. I figure Amy can carry another basket or something – cause we need to have Tink + the Enchanted 10K medals in our pics this year! Amy- got that?
