The ABC’s of Me!

A. Attached or Single Sorry fellas, this gal is attached!  Married 10 years, wow time flies.

B. Best Friend. I have lots of great friends, so its hard to pick one. Truly the hubs is my best friend.  AWWWWWWWW.

C. Cake or Pie? CAKE. Yeah, I love cake. My most favorite, which brings back child hood memories of Birthdays is your basic yellow cake, lemon curd filling and seven minute frosting from Rhodes Bakery.  We even had it on our wedding day.

D. Day of the Week? Weekends. I am lazy by nature and love Sundays the best I think.  This is usually when I do my long runs when I am in training and I really like that “me” time running alone.

E. Essential Item? Coffee. With Half and Half. Oh and after that – all you need is love.

F. Favorite Color? Pink. Its bright and cheerful and looks good on me in the summer. Plus it reminds me of my favorite princess Mini-Me!

G. Gummy Bears or Gummy Worms? Bears…..just the right chewy size….but I try to avoid them so bad for your teeth you know.


H. Hometown? ATL. A rare native, family been here for generations.

I. Favorite Indulgence?  Donuts!  Krispy Kreme when hot are divine, even better on a race when a kind spectator is handing them out!
 

 J. January or July? July – I love the lazy days of summer and hanging at the pool with my daughter.  LOVE the Peachtree Road Race world’s largest 10k…yeah, its here…. and the Fourth of July – parades, firework, the Boston Pops on TV!

K. Kids? Yes I have 2. One lives in heaven, he was born 16 weeks premature and lived 9 days.  I miss him so much.  AND my rainbow daughter, my miracle came a couple years later. She is my princess going into first grade. So much like her dad!

L. Life isn’t complete without?  Laughter. You have to laugh at the absurdity of things sometimes.

M. Marriage Date? 2003, Summer.

N. Number of brothers/sisters. Youngest of 4 – 1 brother, 2 sisters. Yeah, just a little spoiled.

O. Oranges or apples? Whichever is in season….can’t stand mealy mush apples nor can I stand dried up oranges.  I really love both.

P. Phobias? Heights. Bridges….maybe related to the height thing. Fear of Falling….so yeah, tower of Terror, NOT gonna happen. 

Q. Favorite quote? Life is what happens when you are making other plans – John Lennon

 R. Reason to smile?  Because life is wonderful…..really it is! 

S. Season of Choice? Fall.  I love when the weather gets cool and the trees are brilliant shades of green, orange, red and yellow.

U. Unknown fact about me?  I was in the opening credits of the Saturday morning Krofft Supershow. Oh yeah I was!  Check it out look for the gal in white getting  a balloon. Some 70′ glam going on here.

V. Favorite vegetable? Right now digging Kale. Sauteed, as a salad, baked and made as chips…good stuff.

W. Worst habit? I bite my nails and often go to worst case scenario…hence I can be a worrier.

X. X-Ray or Ultrasound? I associate Ultrasound to holding my breath waiting for bad news…..so X-Ray.  Bones are cool.  Love the skills of the Man of Steel.

Y. Your favorite food?  There is NOTHING like a good hamburger.  Toppings of choice: Grilled Onions, Pickles, Lettuce, Tomato, Mustard and just a LITTLE Mayo – Hellman’s. Oh WHY Le Cellier did you get rid of it on the lunch menu? AND thank goodness there is no In-N-Out here, cuz man I love those animal style!

 
Z. Zodiac Sign? Libra. I’m a lover not a fighter!  Scales um yeah, that symbol seems to fit.
