Swung by Target yesterday and picked up some new tunes. I wanted to update the running play list and got a CD so I can play this one in the van which does not have IPOD plug-in, yeah old school I know.
If you haven’t seen Pitch Perfect, its the story of a Freshman girl, a loner going to college and finding herself through an a capella group “The Barden Bella’s”. You have the Bellas which are the underdogs, think Bad News Bears, versus the Treblemakers – same college award winning boy group. Its a fun ride with a boy meets girl thing going too.
Love.This.Sountrack. I am a sucker for some good harmonies and my personal favorite track is the Treblemakers “Bright Lights Big City/Magic in Me”. I LOVE it when Benji played by Ben Platt belts out Magic in Me…hey some runs I do feel magical!
Excited to have some new tunes this week to run to. My runs have been very blah and thought this could bring some pep in my step! New music can do that for me.

So happy I have some new tunes. I do think UVA Hullaballoo’s a Capella version of “Final Countdown” just might displace John Williams Olympic Fanfare as my new power song. I need to update my playlist some more, let me know some of your favorites and your power song!

I downloaded a few PP songs to my phone a couple of weeks ago. They really get me going!
