As a recent fan of virtual races – if you missed it, you can read about it here; I wanted to share this cool fundraiser Amy is doing for the Give Kids the World.
The virtual race is easy peasy; you just sign up and Amy will mail you your medal as soon as they are available. YOU choose when and how to have your kids earn THEIR OWN BLING! You don’t need to worry about remembering to log your results with this race either. Get them to run 1 mile, a 5k, a 10k whatever you choose!
Amy has priced these medals so cheap to encourage us moms and dads to get our kids active and so that families with multiple children will be able to afford a medal for more than one kid.

I think the virtual race is a great idea all around – encouraging kids to be active and helping kids who can’t be.
