You know the drill. Its the time of year when we are all stressing about moving that Elf. Some overachieving moms like to make us feel bad about our lack of creativity. Honestly, I am lucky I remember to move the little Elf Eleesa.
My friend Julia and her fam are super funny and creative – their elf Cheeto entertains me daily. Her family’s crazy antics of her elf Cheeto has inspired me to try to make us all laugh. I know so many people SICK of the #EOTS or who don’t get it: but honestly when you come downstairs with your kid and they smile seeing the in a new hilarious spot, makes it all worth it. NOW when the elf doesn’t move, that takes on a whole new level of creativity, trust me on that “Mommy’s got some splainin’ to do……” Its only the 10th and our elf has stayed put 2 nights, sad but true. I need all the inspiration I can get, thanks Julia!

Those are so fun. We have not started that tradition but it looks like a hoot.
Its a hoot and a curse….as I ran downstairs frantically this morning. my problem is I fall asleep wehn I put Mini Me to bed!
I have a friend with a two year old and her second baby is something like 14 months old. She has been collecting elf on the shelf pics on pinterest all year. Every time I log on to it, my pinterest homepage is full of her elf postings. She thinks she’s going to do it for the next eight years. I think that’s nuts! But, I do like the nasty elf pictures people post. Some of them are pretty funny.
I am good most mornings just to get Eleesa moved! My friend Julia has help with her husband who comes up with some of the shennangans. I am glad I do it because so many kids at school do so its just easier to follow along than explain why we don’t have an elf.
So cute! But we don’t do the elf thing here. I’m way too lazy.
I have days I wish we didn’t start it….but its fun..and we don’t go out big daily. I don’t like getting up any earlier than I have too..that is the problem.
