#JollyVoxBox New York Color HD Color Trio Eye Shadows

You may recall I received the #JollyVoxBox from Influenster recently.  Really it was packed full of goodies!

I received all contents in the box complimentary to me to try and let you know what I thought.  I am about to go out shopping and put a little sparkle on my eyes with my New York Color HD Color Trio Eye Shadow.  I received Trio #781, Long Beach Sands.  I have to say these neutrals are PERFECT for me. I don’t were  a ton of make up and love putting something on to make my tired old eyes look bright. Totally did the trick.  

 The trio comes with and applicator and for the make-up artist challenged, a suggestion of where to apply the colors….Highlighter, All Over Color, and Crease Color.  It was easy to apply for and went on as silky as other higher end Department Store eye shadows I have used. 

I love my colors. Perfect to brighten up your eyes for everyday or a special occasion.  I just used the guide on where to apply what color, a VERY quick application of color and VOILA…tired eyes ready to meet the holiday crowds.  I am no model and I REALLY need to shape up the brows, but look how pretty this looked.  

The ONLY down side of this trio: I found the applicator to be a little small, but it got the job done. I do NOT have big hands, and it was tiny.   I do have some make up brushes I use so I will be using them for application from now on.   Hey, a set of makeup brushes is a GREAT last minute gift for yourself and with the affordable price of the NYC Color Trios being under $3, you can afford to treat yourself.

So how do you think I looked LOL.  Have you tried New York Color HD Colors?  I give it a glowing review – really I thought I was glowing.  I will definitely be purchasing it when I need eye colors.

    Love these colors and I think you look fab! I love make up! In another life I would love to be a cosmetologist.

    It definitely brightens your eyes!
    I don’t wear makeup often because I am one of those people who would spend 15-20 minutes to look like I don’t have makeup on. LoL Why bother??
