Yesterday, as I posted the Disney Prince Half Corrals this bib number just popped in my head. I wondered who the lucky person would be to have this literary classic number and super successful stage musical principal’s number. Yet I had quite a few ask me “Um what is with that Bib?”
I am kind of nerdy; I even started singing hearing the orchestra strings as I typed the answer…
Its Jean Valjean from Les Miserables – oh HEY Hugh Jackman! Liam Neeson made a good Jean too in film. Oh and the book – read it. Its long yes, but good.
If you are Princess #24601: Please I want a photo with you. No really, I am nerdy and quirky, but not a super stalker or anything. If any of your Princess Friends are Princess 24601, hook me up with the photo. Please and thanks.
Hey its a good day when Hugh Jackman makes my blog.
Did you get the reference when you saw the bib?

YES! And the fact that you knew the reference thrilled me. I hope you find the owner of the bib of awesomeness.
We are just the cool school musical kids! I need to be like Javert now don’t I!
Oh, I love Les Mis. I’ve read the book so many times it’s all falling apart. And I have some songs from the broadway soundtrack on my race playlist. I’ve been afraid to watch the movie (although I bought it) because I worry it won’t live up to the play. I think I know what I’ll be doing this weekend!
the movie was good I think everyone was fine…well Russell Crowe, his singing in my mind was not the strongest, but bless his heart. I enjoyed it…though nothing is as good as the Broadway Soundtrack!
This is beyond fantastic. Seriously! My husband is now singing “2460 Run!” around the house!
Oh I LOVE that………. I wonder if 2460 Run will get the significance of the awesome number!
I’m like Suzanne; I didn’t get it, but I’ll look at Hugh Jackman any day ๐
I must be talking and singing to myself…but HELLO…Its HUGH! Yes please.
That reference was lost on me too! Sorry! I’ve only seen Les Mis one time. It was a stage show in London and I am ashamed to say I think I fell asleep for some of it!
I still love ya! You a reader, its a long book but good for a classic. Really though, this reference, its funny…. I promise. ๐
I got it, but Jackman isn’t the Valjen who sings it in my head. I’ve spent too many years listening to the Broadway cast recording. That would be an excellent race number, but it seems like a lot of trouble…you’d always be running from the same inspector….
Oh I LOVE me some C Wilkinsin as 24601, what a voice! I know Patty could be my Javert….perfect no..then we stop in Mexico for some margaritas…
Oh my gosh that’s awesome! I’ve never had a bib number with great significance. Now I’ll be looking out. I’m 21683 in corral F though if you want to say hi! ๐
I KNOW….I MUST get a photo LOL. What will you be wearing…I will look for ya….my outfit to be revealed! Last year at Princess…I was 6660…I felt downright evil.
I immediately started singing that in my head! I’ve been a huge Les Mis fan since high school.
Thank you Jaime…I was beginninng to think I was nerdy….now I know we are just too cool. LOVE this show!
If you find her, you should open with “You have no rights! Come with me, 24601!”
bwahahahaha I am brushing up on my Javert songs right now…. Poor 24601 probably will think I am nuts…..or “who started this Jean ValJean stuff”.
I did not get the reference, but Hello, Hugh Jackman ๐
He was one buff prisoner in that movie! Hugh is always a nice sight IMO!
