I went to see Saving Mr Banks alone….blissfully by choice. If you know me and you are getting to know me, you know I LOVE movies. Mr RWFR and I before Mini Me…we LOVED going to the movies. After Mini Me…it doesn’t happen so much. We are cheap and don’t pay babysitters. He wasn’t so excited about Saving Mr Banks so I decided to go alone….
BEST.DAY.EVER.
Whilst enjoying my OWN personal popcorn and drink, I truly enjoyed this trailer.
HELLO…..Jon Hamm and Disney Pictures? This movie looks great…OK MR HAMM looks great and looks like a fun movie, but it truly looks like a fun movie! Oh and some of it….filmed right here in the ATL.
What do you think about Million Dollar Arm, due out in theaters in spring?

I saw that trailer too. It looks like a fun movie. I love going to the movies alone! I do that when I’m on summer vacation. Everyone else is working so it’s very low key. It’s nice to just see the movies you want to see without worrying about consensus.
Were you as much of a wreck as I was after Saving Mr Banks?

YEP I was a total mess. That movie is so sad in so many ways, yet its good. I did LOVE Paul Giamatti so much and the Shermans. Poor Mrs Travers….she was so messed up.

There was an article in the paper about what was factual and what was made up. They said she was seen crying during the movie premiere, but it’s unknown as to why. I suspect it could have been her regretting selling her work after seeing it all changed. That’s gotta sting.

I had read that she was crying and it was because she was so unhappy with the final product. Who knows……. This movie did make me wonder if also it just brought back sad memories
