Princess Half Marathon Costume Reveal!

Time for runDisney’s Princess Half Marathon.  Spoiler alert, I will NOT win this race, so might as well have a little fun in my race attire.
 

So  I had this Malificent hat – um seriously y’all its a velvet pillow I got at the Party City.  I thought HOW can I wear this in a race despite the fact its a well velvet pillow.  I also already had my Cocogo shirt and Magic Potion Sparkle Skirt too, no need to purchase anything new for clothing.  For budget,  I just made a cape of tulle and did a glitter craft foam set of wings for the dragon in me – SUPER CHEAP costume since I had most of it on hand.

I always run in a visor and this pillow stays up there better with it on, if its sunny I will have my shades on.  This pink one COULD work in a pinch, but I will look at the expo to see if anything catches my fancy colorwise for the visor.  To be honest, I don’t see myself running MUCH in this hat, because well its hot…. but for photos, I am pulling this puppy out.  When not on my head, I can latch it to Spibelt.  Here’s the look:

Hmmm, I wonder what Brad Pitt would think of MY version of the Evil Fairy?

So what do you think?  So sorry about the photos, but kind of in a time crunch here…I leave for the ball SOON.  Glad this costume came together so easily.  Please say Hi if you see me at the race.

OH I am looking for the 3 Fairies to have my photo with….. well that and Princess number 24601.

    Great outfit! Good luck staying cool with that hat.I also have visors for my two outfits and since there is rain in the forecast, they may be a very good option on race day!
