OK all you Goonies fans, I know you are super stoked about the sequel in the works. But there is more news regarding Goonie Sean Astin. The Actor, Producer, Husband, Political Activist, Father, Runner, Radio Host and all around good guy is about to start season 2 of his radio show Vox Populi. I believe in Sean’s show as truth be told, I too am one of the “occasionally interested people”. To be perfectly upfront, I was asked if I was interested in promoting Vox Populi here through my affiliation with the Entertainment New Media Network. I did receive a small gift as a token of Sean’s thanks…he is just a nice guy that way – but honestly I am so happy to help someone out who is just trying to get people talking again, of course I said yes!

I don’t want to get too political here, but it seems like ALL sides all pretty much frustrated with “the state of things”. People are so polarized in beliefs, its seems even casual discussions with friends whom beliefs might be a TAD different than ours can turn to heated debates and finger pointing at “your group has screwed things up for all of us”. #AintNobodyGotTimeForThat.
I love how Sean has recognized this and is trying to just bridge the gap and at least get people TALKING. I mean NOTHING will change if we all stand our ground to be right for being right’s sake you know? And Heck, am I 100% sympatico with Sean’s political beliefs, um no – hey, just keeping it real here, BUT I admire him for what he is TRYING to do. He is just trying to get people talking and keeping the discussions civil….now there’s a concept!
Sean’s radio show, Vox Populi “voice of the occasionally interested people” will have its Season 2 debut May 1st on a NEW network. You can catch Sean on his NEW network TradioV.com where shows will be broadcast LIVE on Thursdays from 3pm – 5pm Eastern Time!
