Moms and daughters. When you reach a certain age, in my experience it felt like it could be Hormones vs Hormones. While some of our friends seem to have had the perfect moms, others seem to have ones which we can shake our head at and well laugh at the craziness that can be family. I was blessed with an amazing mom, who was with me too short a time. We had a great relationship and then I hit puberty and she as going through menopause, it could get rough… I have no idea why I got mad at her, she was the best. I was thinking of my top moms in movies and there is no other movie to better express the conflict, humor and deep bonds mothers and daughters can experience than Terms of Endearment.
Three decades of the relationship between a mom and her daughter. Is there anything sweeter than the two of them talking on the bed with feet intertwined. 
It is so sweet, and of course the “GIVE MY DAUGHTER THE SHOT!!!!” hospital scene will forever standout as a mama bear looking out for their baby. Despite a lifetime of conflict and different perspectives, this film really hits on strong bond of moms and daughters like no other.
My morning was spent sleeping in and being served breakfast in bed by Mini Me while Mr RWFR cooked up a fine meal with her. Homemade card too. Doesn’t get much better than that, I want to cherish every second our family has together.
