I am Georgia grown, lived here all my life. I love this state. The heat, the humidity, the southern draw, and oh the tastes. Sweet Tea, Grits, Cheese Straws, Peaches, Pecans, so much goodness. Being Southern gives a certain sassiness which makes life here fun. We revel in our crazy and gladly take life slower. Life here has gotten faster since others from the outside have discovered all this great state has to offer . For those who have moved away or are just longing to experience the southern Georgia tastes and crafts, check out the Georgia Crafted Gift Box.
Whether received monthly in subscription, or a one time purchase, these specialty Gift Boxes these are products sure to please anyone with a longing for the taste of the south. I received a Georgia Crafted Gift Box at no charge to me for review. Please know that all opinions stated in this post are 100% my own.
I LOVE the idea of this product showcasing the best of Georgia. The folks at Georgia Crafted do an amazing job of pulling together products from around the state as stated on their website:
We scour the State of Georgia looking for the best Georgia-made products and ship them right to your door in a monthly surprise box.
The subscription service makes a GREAT gift for someone who you know misses life in the Peach State.
Not into surprises or subscriptions, well don’t you worry, they also offer gift boxes – including New Mom Gift Box, the Southern Spa Gift Box , and others found on website here. Don’t like these prepackaged boxes, you can also design your own Gift Box choosing from these Georgia crafted and grown products
I received the Flavor of Georgia Gift Box, and let me tell you, it was AMAZING. I had no idea what was inside and squealed in delight when I opened it:
Oh yes, I had to tear into that Peachy Keen Pecan Praline from the Loose Sugar Bakery without sharing with the family. HELLO, buttery nutty goodness with bits of Peaches adding to the sweetness. After consuming, I had to see more about the bakery that made this sweet treat and loved seeing it was made with pecans found right outside the kitchen door of this bakery. No wonder this treat is a Flavor of Georgia WINNER!
As a lover of all things cake I was super excited to try out the Judi Cakes Caramel Sea Salt Cream Cheese Poundcake and yes, I shared this one with Mr RWR and he agreed, it was amazing. He is not a cake person like me, but did say it would have been perfect with one scoop of vanilla ice cream. Judi Cakes yummies can be found in some Whole Foods and online.
I loved EVERYTHING in this box, The Q Sauce from Georgia Mustard Marinade, another Flavor of Georgia winner, made a fantastic grilled chicken. The King Louie Corn Medley Seasoning spiced up our eggs. The Oliver Farm Pecan Oil made an amazing dip. End enjoyed making the nectar of the gods, Sweet Tea made from Southern Sweet Tea leaves, just added honey.
I love finding locally produced products and this box represented areas all over Georgia. Y’all know I love supporting small business right, definitely a win there!
A great way to discover new products, I know friends and family living all over the country would LOVE to receive these Georgia goodies. To order yours go here.
