I know lately its been all crickets around here and for those of you who have reached out to me to make sure everything is OK, AWWWW. Thanks y’all! Truth be told as I approach the big 5-0 I have been focused on some life issues. Oh nothing bad, but the hubs and I are looking at where we are and where we want to be. Some may call it midlife crisis, we think of it as midlife evaluation and planning. Plus back to school I get super busy. This past weekend, we were able to enjoy a family wedding in beautiful Hilton Head Island South Carolina. The highlight of my weekend was when one of the groomsmen delcared “You are NOT going to be 50… I need to know your facial regimen!”. Wow, thanks Dr Bronner’s Soaps!
A few months ago I revealed to some Facebook friends, I use the same soap on my face that I wash the hardwoods and toilet bowls with. Their reaction…
Yes I do. After I had mini me, I started looking for more natural products. One of my crunchy mom friends turned me onto Dr Bronner’s Castile Liquid Soap – which can be ordered from Dr Bronner’s website OR via Amazon, HELLO PRIME FREE SHIPPING! Disclosure, photo below is an affiliate link.
Dr Bronner’s Magic Soap is an all natural vegetable oil based soap. It can be used on SO much, to learn more, go check out their website. Its truly an amazing company with a conscience. Lisa Bronner has some great tips on her blog for uses.
I bought the soap and a few foam dispensers for my shower and all the sinks for hand washing. I use about 1 part soap to 4 or 5 parts water in my dispensers, they really last. I LOVE the peppermint and lavender and still use the baby soap me who has excema. Did you know peppermint oil is great for depression? Or that lavender oil is calming? Not only good for getting clean, you can change your mood with these soaps.
Honestly, I love that I am using something natural on my face and yes for house cleaning too. I do try to wear a hat when outside especially when running. That helps I am sure, read the super models do that. I also occasionally use a scrub to exfoliate, though in the market for a new one. If you have a scrub you like, let me know! AND there you have my regimen, I am all about simple!
After I got a huge compliment on my face from a much younger man, I thought I would share my skin care for those who don’t know about this amazing produce with over 100 uses. Really Dr Bronner’s is great stuff! If you try it through my Amazon links, as an affiliate, I get a little something, but know I have used this for 7 years now and am a believer. My thoughts, when a gay man gives you a compliment
Have y’all tried Dr Bronners Magic Soaps? What is your favorite use? AND anyone got a good natural facial scrub to exfoliate occasionally? Gotta get rid of the dead stuff you know?
