I love ALL kinds of music. It makes me happy to see that Mini Me has picked up the love too. As a Life Teen Leader at church back in my single days, I added a love of Contemporary Christian Music. I will admit it, in my youth, I thought those type of songs were for THOSE type of people and it wasn’t cool. Silly me. Turns out I was one of THOSE type of people appreciating music with a positive uplifting and spiritual message. I noticed through Vacation Bible School years, Mini Me was too. VBS Music CDs are still requested van tuneage. I was invited to review Capitol Kids! Hits CD with Mini Me and was excited to see what these Capitol Kids! CDs were about.
My 7 year old couldn’t wait to hear the music when she saw it. I told her it was music about God and His Love for us, she said “Cool, lets listen to it right now”, quite excitedly I might add which quite frankly surprised me. She loves music but is a creature of habit and pretty much gets stuck on one CD at a time and right now we are in a constant rotation of a certain movie soundtrack, but she has been asking to hear Capitol Kids! too.
Captitol Kids! music was launched by Star Song Music and features the best in Christian music sung by kids. Whether it’s radio hits, worship songs or Christmas music, kids will love these collections of music made just for them. Mini me loves hearing kids sing and of course she loved the CD, I like it too! Favorite songs on the CD are I Love the Way You Hold Me, Gold and Speak Life.The songs are fun to listen too, great beats and yes fun to dance to. Mini me loves to dance and and Capitol Kids! Hits brought out her moves. I tried to get a video but my shy girl just stopped and said “MOM!!!! Dont’ look at me!”

Ready for the holidays? Christmas music my absolute favorite…I already broke out a few holiday CD’s! Capitol Kids! has Christmas music lovers covered too and features 15 classic Christmas carols and originals songs that kids will love. Songs include Christmas favorites with fun arrangements like “Jingle Bells,” Joy To The World (Unspeakable Joy),” and “The First Noel.”
