As an Ambassador of the Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon, I got a surprise today….. New Shoes, New Tights, and New  Half Zip up all from New Balance one of the race sponsors. I was thrilled to receive this as I have been wearing New Balance since my very first half back in ’99.  Here’s a photo of me in 2000, other than the hat, all New Balance from my toes to shoulders! I STILL wear that yellow zip up too! And yeah, still doing the same photo pose 15 years later.

I recently rediscovered my love of the roomiest toe box I have known….never had issues with my New Balance shoes, but hey I tried other brands and came back last year as for me they work SOOOO well.

I got some gorgeous 880 v4’s which I have to say are super cushy….. I need to take them out for a spin.

AND if some new kicks are not enough, I got a GORGEOUS ensemble. A shirt, zip up and tights. I feel hawt!  No really love the colors and holy cow silky smooth clothing. Hey if you aren’t gonna win a race you should look good right?

I also got a New Balance ICE Short Sleeve shirt which you can’t see under the half zip. Talk about a cool shirt, its ventilated in the back PERFECT for hot muggy Georgia runs!Its also a tad longer in the back too, which I like….hey I take all the flattering cuts I can get!

Thanks New Balance for providing stylish (and functional too) running attire for athletes of ALL sizes. I may need to do a quick jaunt around the block when the husband gets home!
