Bulu Box is a monthly subscription service where you are shipped a box of health and fitness related samples each month. I signed up for a 3 month subscription. I was happy with my first box as I did find some products I liked, though not all of them, and was anxious to see what month #2 would offer. You can review the products on the Bulu Box site to earn points toward future purchases or to order full size product of your samples.
Box #2 included the following products:
- Neon Sport Volt Preworkout Endurance Booster
- Cellucor Alpha Amino Sports Drink Powder Watermelon
- Cellucor Super HD
- MET-Rx Protein Plus Bar
- NeoCell Beauty Infusions
- VitaPerk Vitamin Coffee Boost
What I Liked:
MET-Rx Protein Plus Bar was filling and a big bar. It had lots of crunch, which gave me my chewing satisfaction. Strangely I got my favorite candy, Peanut Butter Cup flavor. If you are looking for protein this had 30 grams and only 3 grams of sugar.
Vita Perk Vitamin Coffee Boost has 15 vitamins and minerals, just pour it into your coffee. I do drink coffee and it was super convenient. I don’t sweeten my coffee and had the original flavor, and while it wasn’t bad, I could detect something that is not normally in the flavor. I also tried the Hazelnut and liked the flavor. Cool product idea, easy to just pour it in your coffee for those who can’t handle swallowing a multivitamin.
Neocell Beauty Infusions Collagen Cranberry Splash was tasty. Just mix with water and you get Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid for hydration and skin elasticity, Alpha Lipoic Acid and Vitamin C for free radical damage repair and Biotin to promote healthy hair, nails and skin. At my age, I need all the help I can get and I did like this mix knowing all the goodies inside. I especially liked it contained no soy or gluten. Trying to avoid those as I think my skin doesn’t like them.
What I was Meh on:
Neon Sport Volt, its high in caffeine and not recommended for people who are sensitive. I tasted it but did not have a full serving. Watermelon flavor was tasty, but decided not to give myself heart palpitations which happens when I over do it in my caffeine. Not for me.
Cellucor Super HD Fat Burner, I prefer more natural methods of boosting metabolism. I did not try this one, as I was not interested FOR ME. They sent me 2 samples and not sure I would know this was working based on two samples.
Cellucor Alpha Amino Powder was not really something I am interested in FOR ME, so I tasted the Icy Blue Razz, it tasted good and that was it.
The verdict:
I found a few items of interest I hadn’t tried and 3 that I was not at all interested in. The jury is still out overall as with supplements, its hard to know from one dose if it does what it claims.
If you are interested, Box #1 was reviewed here. Looking forward to trying box #3 which I just received.

I had Bulu Box for 3 months. When I signed up I got a really good deal where each box worked out to be less than $5, but after that was up it didn’t feel worth it to pay $10 a month for a box of samples.
