You ever wonder HOW big the runDisney Princess Half Marathon is? Came across some interesting information this morning regarding Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend. I have enjoyed this race weekend the past 5 years, twice receiving the Glass Slipper Challenge Medals. You can find all my recaps here. The half marathon has grown to as big as the course can handle and has doubled in participant size since the first year I earned my tiara bling. How big you ask? From Disney Sports News I give you 2015 Princess Half by the Numbers.
Make no mistake, this is one big race and yes it can get crowded. The enthusiasm keeps bringing me back. There is truly no other race like it. Is it perfect: No. Do I miss the days when the course was a little less crowded: Yes. Despite that count me in for 2016. I am running with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals started training this week and my Princess In Training tank on order to train in style!
Registration for 2016 Princess Half Opens Tuesday July 14th at noon at runDisney website here. Hint, it will go fast so be ready with your credit card and Active.com account good to go when registration opens at noon.

I wish I could as I love this race and have done it the past 3 years but I am going to be smart and not register to save money. I am planning on doing Disneyland Paris and a week European vacation so I need to be saving. Also, I am holding out Star Wars WDW!

I have to find a way to make Star Wars WDW if it happens…hey its a great time to take the family, right? Paris is too far for me, but enjoy! Can’t wait to read about it.

Wow, 24,000 people running the half? No wonder it feels so congested! I do love it though. And I don’t know why they bother to have increased prices since it usually sells out in like a day lol.

I know, I laugh when I see the pay later dates…but races have been selling out slower, though this one with all the princesses, it will go fast! Last year was the first year the castle was not like a rock concert shuffle, I was shocked. I love this race except the one part after MK when its one lane…its just so crowded…other than that… ALL MAGIC.
