Raffle for Garmin 920XT

August 27, 2015 by Julie @RunWalkRepeat

Garmin920xtraffle

I try NOT to overdo it with gear when I run, really I don’t, but since my first wearing of my Garmin running it was clear this item was a necessity. My friend Laurie is hosting a raffle benefiting the Scott Rigsby Foundation where you can win your own Garmin 920XT !! The Garmin 920XT with heart rate monitor retails for $499. To see the full functions and features of this watch, read DC Rainmaker’s in-depth review.

Tickets are $35.00 each or 3 for $100

Make your donation directly to Laurie’s fundraising page and put “raffle” in the notes. Raffle will be done officially on Rafflecopter. The drawing will be held on Monday September 21st at noon EST.

Scott Rigsby Foundation

I met Laurie at the when our girls were babies, we were both into babywearing, remember my love of it? Laurie is an amazing mom, now with two girls.  Her oldest daughters were born very premature and when we realized we had that connection as well, our friendship was cemented. Laurie has been running for years, Galloway girl as well AND she is also a TriAthlete. No Laurie, I am NOT into a TRI, so please no asking umkay?  Laurie will be at the Augusta 70.3 event in honor and support of the Scott Rigsby Foundation whose mission:

To inspire, inform and enable individuals with disabilities to live a healthy, active lifestyle.

Yeah, that is indeed an awesome mission.

Here’s the actual Garmin 920XT in Laurie’s Possession for Giveaway!

Laurie is about $900 away from her goal and through the generosity of Big Peach Running Company in Decatur, GA who donated the grand prize, she has this amazing Garmin whose proceeds will benefit Scot Rigsby Foundation.  Hey its a win win, you could win a Garmin valued at $499 AND you are helping promote active lifestyle to those facing challenges most do not have through your donation to Laurie’s fundraiser.

Good luck, it appears your chances will be GREAT!

Disclosure: I was asked by my friend to share her fundraiser and am receiving no compensation for this post. All opinions are my own.
