Its getting cold out there and if you are like me, need a new show to enjoy. I have been binging myself on streaming The Blacklist on NBC starring one of my favorite actors, James Spader. Yeah, he rocks and never disappoints in any role. I have been enjoying binging in a whole new way for me on my laptop with NBC TVEverywhere.
I have been asking myself, “How have I missed this show and why have I not been watching all along” since its now on Season 3. I know exactly why, its called dinner, homework, bedtime, forgetting to set DVR and a full DVR. Most nights, I am too tired to enjoy TV and thanks to NBC TVEverywhere, I have a new way to watch TV without the TV, I just stream The Blacklist for FREE on my desktop or PC, yes no subscription required. I love how I don’t have to worry about catching it on the right night either, cuz this time of year the days just blend into each other don’t they.
Since we cut back cable/internet provider to the most basic of channels. I have found myself streaming more and more. The binge is a great way to jump into a series that has already started – you know the one all your friends and coworkers are talking about and you feel left out because you haven’t been watching it. The Blacklist is just that show. You should watch it!
The series starts out with the criminal mastermind and one of FBI’s Top Ten Most Wanted for 20 years, Red Reddington (Spader) turning himself into the FBI and insists with talking only with FBI rookie profiler Liz Keen. Liz’s life get rocked as the highly intelligent and clever Red only will work with her in his union with the FBI cluing the agency into criminals and plots from his vast network and past. Its the intelligent type of show and character with plots and turns to keep you hooked. As a Spader fan, surprised this hasn’t been on our DVR, but again, ours is full of shows for my daughter, sigh, the life of a mom. I feel like I am constantly on the go like Red and Liz, and love how I don’t need to on my family room couch to catch up with Red and Liz.

Its a nice change from the news….. I love this type of show. Lots of twists and turns and you are always wondering…good guy or bad guy. Plus a huge Spader fan.
