With 29 nights of “Boo To You”, Walt Disney World Resort has more chances than ever for guests to experience the 2016 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Dates. You will see it on social media shortened to MNSSHP – and it is one of my favorite Disney events. We first attended in 2013 and you can read my post What Exactly Is Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party…fun times!
One of Walt Disney World’s most popular events, guests trick-or-treat throughout the park, discovering all the boo-tiful ways that the spirits of the season have transformed the park into a happy haunted hallows…which includes seeing many favorite Disney Characters dressed in their very own Halloween costumes. Generally the ride times are low at the party and the character lines can be long, however they bring out some great characters you don’t normally get an opportunity to get a photo with.
Guests also enjoy special entertainment including a spook-tastic parade and eerie extravaganza of fireworks. Returning Guest favorites include “Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade,” “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular,” and “Happy HalloWishes” fireworks.

MNSSHP guests are given a wristband to identify they can ride the attractions and stay in the park. Without a wristband, you cannot stay in the park.

Keep in mind, new this year, is revised costuming guidelines for special events. Costumed attire may be worn, guests ages 14 and older are strongly discouraged from wearing layered costumes or costume props that surround the entire body as they may be subject to additional security screening. Additionally, costumes may not contain any weapons that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
