Today FINALLY is my little princess’s first day of school – our last year at the preschool, pass the Kleenex my baby is growing up but MAN it was good to be apart from her a few hours.
My plan was to drop her off and go to the gym to get my run on since forecast called for rain.
WELL, let me tell you this morning was my running condition Nirvana….low 60’s with a light drizzle. When I got to my mom van to go to the gym, I thought about running on the path by school, but decided against it as I didn’t have my spibelt to carry my phone – for safety and my IPOD for music. I mean, I love my Garmin, but during the week don’t HAVE to have it for distance.
I got to the Gym and was so bummed I was inside. Lesson learned….be prepared. I am keeping my spibelt in the car from now on when planning on going to the gym…..just in case I would rather be outside.
Oh well, I am happy I got in my run….and have now added doing lunges afterwards as a part of getting fit. My legs were so sore after my last run from the measly 15 lunges I did….did 18 today. Also instead of G2 as my post workout drink, I had Coconut water post run for the first time….not bad at all and fits right into my trying to get off all artificial sweeteners. Pretty good morning….pretty pretty good!
