Hey, Get Up, Get Loud…..Yes, when I hear these words I get all giddy with joy. Reminds me of my favorite street party at the Magic Kingdom!
From Disney Parks Website
This is so much fun! After the Princess Half Marathon, Amy and I caught this party just as it started down Main street and well I got right behind the rope and marched down with it. Another medal wearing princess joined in the fun too – here I am right before the hub!
No characters around? Dance with the tall stilts dudes, they are glad to oblige.
Frozone pointed to me, blew me a kiss and made a heart symbol.
That time Mr Incredible literally disappeared from his float, we will never know what happened…but he was NOT on the float on the way out!
Goofy hugged me after Princess Half and pointed to my medal! Yeah, you get this close to the characters…man that was a beautiful day.
Sadly, I heard via twitter from another Disney fan that this street party would be ending the end of April. Today I headed straight to the source and I tweeted Jenn with Disney Parks Blog to ask her if anything would replace this…..
OH joy of joys…
|Sweet, I will continue to be “Pumpin’ Up the Party..||“|
I am so glad our next trip I get to dance in the streets once again!

There is a party going on in your head….. hey you hear rumors, go right to the source. Those Disney folks are super nice!
I went to Disneyland in 2001. I loved it. I would love to take the kids one day.
In fact I would totally love to do the Princess half.
You are very lucky to be able enjoy the parade.

I hope you get your wish Matilda! The parade is truly a celebration and dancing in the street. One of the many things that brings a smile to my face at Disney!
