Wordless Wednesday: Celebrate Your Country!

May 29, 2013 by Julie @RunWalkRepeat

Again, I am participating in Deb at Focused n the Magic’s Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop!  This week’s theme in honor of Memorial Day “Celebrate Your Country”

Ye Old Colonial Mickey at the Hall of Presidents with Amy of Mom’s Magical Miles is of course very Disney USA. What else says USA  to me?  Pick Up Trucks, Race Cars, Cowboys, Astronauts, Beignets,Fireworks and of course the start of the world’s largest 10k here in the ATL, the Peachtree Road Race.  God Bless the USA and thanks to all who have served this great nation of ours, most especially those who gave their lives for our freedom.  I included a photo of my Dad on VJ Day who is celebrating the end of war….not exactly Disney but hey, I love this photo!

Me, Mickey and Amy of Mom’s Magical Miles Post Princess Half 2011
Nascar and Trucks…USA…USA…USA…
Astronaut and Cowboy
Baby You’re a Firework!
Beignets at Port Orleans French Quarter, New Orleans baby!
Running under the big flag on the 4th of July..ok here in ATL
Not exactly Disney, but Dad celebrating VJ Day with his friends.

Great set of pictures. Like everybody else I love the VJ picture, but the one that’s really impressive to me is the picture of you and Amy after the half marathon. You guys are still standing! If I was in that picture I’d be passed out on Mickey’s feet gasping for air.
