Picked up my bib and got my race shirt for the Big Peach Sizzer 10k Friday. Orange is indeed the new black – yowsah, that is loud.
They only offered men’s shirts so this beaut is going to Mr RWFR for biking and volleyball. I am jealous its nice and bright but I don’t do well in men’s shirts.
Oh well, its gonna be a slow one for me as I have been having issues with foot and ankle again. Tight calves too…so been stretching like crazy. I will be sure to give you an update after the race.
Here’s Flat Julie for tomorrows race.
Hey if I am not gonna Sizzle in time, might as well #sparkleon in my Race Number Skirt and to honor those friends of mine who ran the Dumbo Double Dare, wearing my #TeamRunDisney Group Shirt. Way to go you Dumbo Rockstars.
#run3rd Dedications for this race: For Caleb, Jake, Chris, Michelle, Carsten and Finn AND for their Moms and Dads. Also for my Dumbo Double Dare Rockstars who have amazed me this summer with dedication to training and running this weekend in CRAZY heat and humidity.
I am taking dedications up to the race start at 7:30am, tweet me @runwalkfastpass and #run3rd with yours.
Not excited about the humidity!
Oh well – I can walk 6.2 if need be and its nice and flat! Off to bed. Sweet dreams y’all!

THanks Karen!I do love that shirt…..first time wearing. I will recap…it was NOT fun, but its done. It rained hard….wet socks stink. 🙂
I love the peach running on the shirt! So cute!
I also love your positive attitude – even if you walk the whole thing, you’re doing a lot more than sitting on the couch!
Julie Franklin says
Yep – SO cute! The team shirts from the store were even cuter. Turned out to be OK, but it rained. Hard. THAT was not fun…but I did it! 🙂
