Looking Back:
The first big news was the DisBroads launch of Disbroads.com – a website I am contributing to with 8 other Disney loving, Mom, and Runner friends. Truly a fun and supportive group check us out!
FYI, we also on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram too. Sure to be a fun place to hang out!
I ended my 2 week Ab Wall Workout Challenge today and its obvious I need to do more. Putting together a plan today to get strong for Glass Slipper Challenge at runDisney Princess Weekend. You will probably see some healthy and fitness type stuff ahead since I always need support and motivation and you my readers really help! Hey we are all in this together.
Remember this post on #Shutdown and Sean Astin’s Vox Populi? #Shutdown is over! My favorite trail is back open again. WAHOO! Oh and Sean Astin has reached his goal in his Kickstarter campaign to fund Vox Populi – a talk show encouraging Civil Discourse. Way to go Sean! Whether you agree with his politics or not, I find it quite admirable he is saying people need to talk to each other on issues civilly AND he is trying to do something about it. He really is good people y’all. You can still support his campaign if you are a fan want to support this venture of his.
Looking Ahead:
My GreecieGirlHeadband Giveaway ends Thursday night at 11:59pm. If you haven’t entered, give it a shot…..they are bright and colorful. I always feel like I run better when I look good and mine sure brightens up my face! I love supporting USA mom made products.
We had an amazing Fall trip last weekend. A little too early for foliage changes, however, we enjoyed Rock City Roctoberfest, The Chattanooga Creative Discovery Museum, The Tennessee Aquarium, Horseback riding at Blanche Manor Stables, our annual trek to Burt’s Pumpkin Farm and Amicalola Falls. I plan to share the fun with you guys – all fabulous places to visit!
Only 21 more days til runDisney Wine Dine Half! My training has been off this time. I am dealing with some nagging issues in the ankle and calf. I have been taking things slow and easy, but I will be honest, I am scared of not finishing because I will get hurt. The memory of my first Princess Half training where I developed a bad case of Plantar Faciitis always on my mind. I will be with my fellow DisBroads and plan on running with Patty. Between my DisBroads and support with the Pace Book Running Club from Facebook, I know I have the resources AND support to finish. I cannot wait for this trip and race though!
We are chilling today, been a whirlwind week.

I am so excited for the Wine and Dine Half Marathon weekend, it will be my first time running this race. You’ve got this! Take each mile as it comes and listen to your body. You will be running with an amazing group of ladies and if I “run” into you I’ll be sure to shout some motivation 🙂

Thanks Patty…..your support means so much more than I can express. We will do it and have a blast. I am going for 10 this week…an EASY 10. Which I think will get me over the hump of fear I am having.
