2013: What a Year and Some Favorites

December 31, 2013 by Julie @RunWalkRepeat

Its the last day of 2013, holy cow where did the time go.  Its a day of looking back I suppose.  I decided to share my favorite posts from this past year and here they are…..granted, ask me tomorrow and this might change….but I stand with these TODAY!

1. On The Road To Disney Parks Meetup in Atlanta

http://runwalkrepeat.blogspot.com/2013/11/ontheroadtodisneyparks-atlanta.html

This was TRULY an amazing event. I am still blown away that runDisney came to Atlanta and brought the magic of Disney to the Turner Field and the streets of Atlanta.

2. Wine and Dine Marathon Half Recap

http://runwalkrepeat.blogspot.com/2013/11/rundisney-wine-and-dine-half-marathon.html

Most definitely my favorite race of 2013.  A weekend with limited park time at Walt Disney World, oh, the horrors, but filled with fun and pixie dust none the less. I got to meet several of my DisBroad friends for the first time in person and we had a blast.   The race was very different from any I had run before and I did the second half alone.   I want to go back so badly!

3. We Went To Georgia Tech Because We Want to Do the Impossible

I don’t get “personal” very often on this blog because quite frankly, sometimes I feel as though “who cares what I think”.  I mean everyone has an opinion right?  Maybe its the fact today is one of those days where everyone reflects back and this post was about that.  I am extremely proud of myself for graduating from Georgia Tech and besides learning science, statistics, Economics, etc, I can see I learned so much more.   And I like this post, um kay?

That’s it, what do you think about these posts!

Change is a coming in 2014…. my wish is to make things better, on so many levels.  How you ask, well tune in tomorrow.

Thank you so much for being apart of Run.Walk.FASTPASS.Repeat this past year.  I truly appreciate you, my readers.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!  Got any exciting plans tonight?  The RWFR Family is just hanging out together to ring in the new year.

No plans for us tonight, I’m on call, plus we don’t normally do anything anyway. I will have my traditional New Years Eve crab legs. Which makes me happy. One of my highlights was getting to spend time with you in person at W&D. So glad we became friends this year. Oh, and I found out one of Lew’s best friends is also a Georgia Tech alum. 🙂
