Are you a fan of kinesiology tape but having issues with it staying on. Don’t know what kinesiology tape is? Well come right in, I want to tell you about my latest find, GO Tape Premium Kinseology Tape.

Why kinseology tape you ask? I can tell you the reasons on the box of GO Tape are pretty much why I started taping in a nutshell:

As someone who has suffered through tendinitis, plantar faciitis and shin splints, I am always looking for the perfect product to help support my old body while I try to stay active. Before any race or run longer than 5 miles, I tape up my my left foot and ankle with kinesiology tape, because it definitely helps in the support factor. When my plantar faciitis was a couple years ago and I informed my doctor we were going to Walt Disney World – remember this is my case my symptoms, he told me tape up my foot for extra support on the trip with all the walking…and to use Fastpasses.
I started with plain jane athletic tape, but soon discovered kinesiology tape and fell in love. Problem is, lately the brand I had been using, is NOT sticking to my sweaty feet. I have also had issues with application where it won’t stick and I and up wasting product because it takes 2 or 3 tries to get it on. Then my sweat happens and well it just stops sticking to my feet.
I was sent a roll of GoTape Premium Kinseology Tape and was anxious to give this new product a shot. It tells you on the package “Why Its Better”:

I tried it out at the 2014 Peachtree Road Race and I have to say I was impressed. Easily applied on the first try and it stuck on for the duration of this July 4th 10k.
I taped up my favorite personal method of ankle and arch support – my lingering tendinitis has had my ankle a tad tight lately. Bottom of foot first, then up inside and then around arch. This works for me and my issues.
The tape stayed applied everywhere during the race, through my post race shower and through the next day. I pulled it off about 36 hours after applied and it was still sticking nice and tight.

The box I received was a continuous roll in a striking blue color, but it was more than just a pretty color. You can read all about the benefits here.
I have used in another brand, both pre-cut strips and continuous roll which required cutting. I prefer the full roll as I feel like there is less waste as sometimes I didn’t need the full strip. The paper easily came off the adhesive aiding in fast application.
Since starting to use tape a couple years ago, I have noticed less issues in my feet, ankles and shins. I don’t think its a coincidence, as I need all the support I can get! So excited that now I have found a brand that my sweat can’t scare off my feet – GO Tape, my go to brand of Kinesiology tape.
