This weekend I am attending the Type-A Parent Conference here in Atlanta. Its a GREAT conference for bloggers, if you aren’t going, get this on your radar for next year. As a native Atlantan who grew up in Buckhead where the the conference will be held, I was able to offer some tips on the Type-A Parent Blog for those attending the conference without a car. Enter “Marta, Its Smarta!”. While this post is specific to the conference, there are general tips for anyone coming to my fair city, for instance step by step, from Airport Gate to Marta Platform at the airport.
“Welcome y’all to Atlanta for the Sixth Annual Type-A Parent Conference. A native, I grew up in Buckhead and worked at the popular Lenox Square mall using public transportation before I had my own wheels. As a corporate cubicle dweller, I rode the MARTA train to work cleaning up emails and texts as during my commute. I arrived at my desk relaxed where co-workers required time to decompress from Atlanta’s traffic. I am a fan of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, MARTA for short.”…..
