I did it! I made my 3 runs this week and in this heat and humidity that is a huge accomplishment. I am so looking forward to the fall for cooler weather…heck I even prefer running in the cold to this.
My times and endurance are back to last year when I started running…which is OK. I got lazy to let my Plantar Faciitis heal and it took longer than I thought it would….but looking back at my runs last year I was dealing with the other’s foot healing so not sure why I thought this one would be quicker.
On my run this morning, I did notice the left ankle was a little tight and so was the hamstring. I pulled out our foam roller and worked on my hamstring afterwards when stretching… OUCH! Off to stretch some more.
Contemplating a 10K labor day weekend on a very flat course. Decisions, decisions….. To my followers, what is your next sceduled race?
