Tune-Age Tuesday – Music From The Parks

August 6, 2013 by Julie @RunWalkRepeat

Things about me….

  • I love music
  • I love the Disney Parks

Yeah, you know this,  right?

SO when I run, guess what helps me keep going….

Music from the Parks. I FINALLY got the CD last visit….

When I need to push through I can think my favorite rides –  Pirates, Big Thunder Mountain or Splash.  I am a Disney Dork that way!    Some songs help with Cadence and some well just make me smile and remind me of my family…the reason I run.

Disney Parks s releasing NEW Park music for both Disneyland and Walt Disney World.

Photo from Disney Parks Blog

You can look at the full list of songs on both Cd’s at the Disney Parks Blog. The new Cd’s will be available at the Parks and on the Disney Music Store for Download August 20th.

Hmm, I need to get the Indiana Jones Temple of the Forbidden Eye song…..so YES, I will be adding the Disneyland music to my collection. This makes me a Disney Addict, sigh.

Do you have any Disney Parks Music on your run play list? What is your favorite Disney Parks song? AND if not a Disney fan, what is on your run play list that is well not your standard exercise music?  I know so many questions, but its fun to see what people listen to!

I have Go the Distance, Grim grinning ghosts, Yo ho yo ho and quite few more. I just loved your PHM 2012 video music though!

Aww thanks Ilene…those Fresh Beats were AMAZING. I am sad Mini Me is out of that phase now…she still likes the songs. They are really good enough to be pop on radio I think….well back in my day. Now radio stinks. We have been listening to this CD in the car!

I love how the Splash song is well the whole ride and all the music! Plus the Epcot background tunes are actually quite amazing.

I have an entire runDisney running mix! I’ll have to check out these new CDs as the two we have in the car are “well loved” and momma could use a bit more variety. 😉

I was just thinking about downloading some Disney music to my ipod. Not music from the park, but music from movies like Lion King and Little Mermaid. That too would keep me motivated thinking about Disney. You aren’t the only grown up Disney dork, I’m with ya!

Oh I have LOTS of Disney music from the movies too! Great stuff to motivate and makes it fun.
