Here you go, from 2011 to present, the Official Race Shirts for the Half, 10k and Glass Slipper Challenge. I threw in the medals too for fun - who doesn't like comparing the bling? As an ambassador of these amazing sports bras, my race entry fee was covered by ENELL, an incredible company with a great product for "women like me" - well endowed ladies. runDisney Marathon Spectator Viewpoints – Marathon, Donald Half Marathon and Princess Half
Getting my family ready for the Marathon. Below is the info I gave my husband for suggested spectator viewpoints and to prepare for the traffic changes due to road closures that could impact time to get to and from some parks due to the race. At Walt Disney World races Marathon weekend, the Half Marathon is the same course as the Marathon for the first 8 or so miles, so the first chart works for Marathon Weekend at Walt Disney World - for the full and the Half and Princess Half Marathon. The … [Read More...]

The Little Mermaid Legacy Collection: Look at this set, Isn’t it neat?
Ariel is kind of a big deal in our house. As Mini Me's favorite princess, she has shown me for years to not be afraid to be myself, be true to yourself, and to enjoy exploration and new things. Its hard for me to believe this movie is 25 years old! I first watched the film with my preschool niece, now married to her own prince. After first seeing it, I would drive around with my Radio Shack after market car tape deck blaring "A Part of Your World" and "Under the Sea". I remember talking with … [Read More...]
Running Resolution: 2015 Miles in 2015
As 2014 closes, I am facing my biggest running regret of the year. My lack of consistency in training. Yep, AGAIN, am I a broken record or what. But hey, I got a plan for next year: 2,015 Run the Edge 2,015 Miles in Challenge to the rescue! Through one of my FB running groups, I heard of this challenge to run 2015 in 2015, um yeah that is a buttload of miles solo and I am not an ultra-marathoner especially since I am struggling to keep the miles up for the full marathon in 9 days. This … [Read More...]
Annie 2014…Not A Hard Knock Life, Fun for the Whole Family
Took Mini Me to see Annie today. Girls of my age in our youth walked around belting out Its a Hard Knock Life and Tomorrow. The original 70's Broadway show featured the red headed Annie (Little Orphan) who ends up with millionaire Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks. Annie lives in an orphanage with caretaker and adult beverage loving Mrs. Hannigan and after spending time with Daddy Warbucks, wins his heart over. Jealous of Annie's good fortune with Daddy Warbucks, Hannigan schemes with her brother to … [Read More...]
Facing My First Marathon Fears and Realizing I Am The Zero Point 5 Percent
In just under 2 weeks I have the Walt Disney World Full Marathon. My first. AND I say this with confidence, ONE AND DONE. How am I feeling? Scared. I have been facing my Marathon Fears. Has my training been 100% as planned. Nope. Am I proud of that nope.I have slowed down considerably and I will say after the Jeff Galloway Half, I had a spark of hope. I got to his race expo early and talked to him a bit. He is so kind. He suggested I cut my running intervals DOWN so I will be less tired at … [Read More...]
