Its been 4 weeks since I first visited YouFit Health Clubs for my assessment. Did I mention I cried during my assessment, yeah I did. I was at all time high weight – other than pregnant when I gained a lot of weight. I didn’t need the assessment to tell me, but I was/am SO out of shape and weak in so may areas. I haven’t done a body measure other than weight this week, but I can tell my gym visits are paying off.
Yep, I am shocked, but I am working at this too.My clothes are getting loose and fitting into some shorts. I still am so weak in some areas, but I can see some improvement in my strength. Seriously, I had no upper body strength when I started and well, baby steps y’all….its coming along.
I have had 4 personal training sessions and I have learned some new moves, been acclimated to some new equipment, and have been given encouragement to succeed along with gentle reminders. My favorite from my trainer regarding going out of town:
I went on a girls weekend a couple weeks ago and stuck with my plan, so proud of that. Celebrated being with old friends too, I mean ya have to right?

Lately, I am really enjoying this guy….who knew? Row Row Row y’all. This machine used to intimidate me.
I promise to post after pics in four more weeks…. I am working on my own now with no trainer, just the gym and my own resolve. I want to keep the momentum going and I can tell ya, it sure is easier to get a better workout at the gym for me. Hitting the road again soon and need to remember to bring along my training with me since I can’t bring the gym, but without the gym, I wouldn’t want to pack in my training! I hope they have a rowing machine at the health center of the resort we are staying at! I love to row and sweat my fat cells out!
